Customer Due Diligence (CDD) Analyst

Overview

This is a critical role within Skipton ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and other financial regulations. This involves assessing and monitoring the risk profiles of customers to prevent illicit activities such as money laundering, fraud and terrorism financing.

Required Skills

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships both within the team and the wider business in order to achieve objectives.
  • Knowledge of onboarding procedures including due diligence, KYC, CRS/FATCA
  • Knowledge of regulatory and obligations in respect of CDD/KYC
  • An understanding of financial crime environment in banking
  • Experience of working in an onboarding, customer services or administrative role within a regulatory , Financial and/or professional services environment
  • Understanding of Client Due Diligence/Anti Money Laundering

Key Responsibilities

  • To contribute to the effective compliance and risk management of the Customer Operations function
  • To suitably Sanctions Screen and Adverse Media screen new to bank clients utilising the FCM module in line with internal policies and procedures
  • To review and verify CDD information and documentation for new to bank customers
  • To suitably Risk Assess New to Bank customers in line with Skipton’s internal policies and procedures
